A diplomatic boycott of the Games would be the least they could do.<\/p><p>In less than four months, the 2022 Winter Olympics will begin in Beijing. While athletes, commentators, and broadcasters are dazzled by the aura of spectacular effects, brand-new stadiums, and smiling mascots, the Chinese state will continue to brutally oppress Uighurs, Tibetans, Hongkongers, Taiwanese, and other minorities.<\/p><p>In China's Xinjiang province, between 1.8 and three million Uighurs and other Turkic peoples are held in concentration camps while being subjected to a campaign of brainwashing, torture, and dehumanization. This includes the sterilization and rape of women.
