Where is Gulshan Abbas?

In 2018, the Uyghur doctor disappeared in China's Xinjiang province. Reason for her disappearance: Her sister, activist Rushan Abbas (54), had drawn attention to mass arrests of Uyghurs and the existence of so-called "re-education camps."

"You can't shut me up. Where is my sister? Why has she disappeared? Is she still alive?", Rushan Abbas wants to know. "The Communist Party in China is committing genocide," the activist tells BILD.

She lives in the USA and is currently touring the world with her documentary film about her sister. She is currently presenting "In search of my sister" in Germany. read more
